Helix Nebula @ The International GridKa School "Big Data, Clouds and Grids", 30 August 2013, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany

CERN presented Helix Nebula at the International GridKa School "Big Data, Clouds and Grids" at the Steinbuch Centre for Computing (SCC) of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany, in 30 August 2013.

The International GridKa School is one of the leading summer schools for advanced computing techniques in Europe. The school provides a forum for scientists and technology leaders, experts and novices to facilitate knowledge sharing and information exchange.

The presentation was geared towards getting feedback on the Helix Nebula plans from a couple of the major German IT centres that support the research community.

The duscussion led to the conclusion that the PRACE machines should be integrated to the HN ecosystem.
