Europe’s Leading Public-Private Partnership for Cloud

The Helix Nebula Initiative is a partnership between industry, space and science to establish a dynamic ecosystem, benefiting from open cloud services for the seamless integration of science into a business environment. Today, the partnership counts over 40 public and private partners.

Helix Nebula @ EGU 2014 General Assembly, 27 April 2014 - 2 May 2014, Vienna, Austria

Wolfgang Lengert, ESA & Helix Nebula partner, gave the "Helix Nebula: Enabling federation of existing data infrastructures and data services to an overarching cross-domain e-infrastructure" presentation at the European Geological Union (EGU) General Assembly.

The EGU General Assembly brought together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary and space sciences. At the conference 12,437 scientists from 106 countries participated, of which 27% were students, 15,000 copies of EGU Today distributed, keen media presence and reporting, and thousands of visits to the webstreams as well as to the EGU blog GEOLOG.
