Europe’s Leading Public-Private Partnership for Cloud

The Helix Nebula Initiative is a partnership between industry, space and science to establish a dynamic ecosystem, benefiting from open cloud services for the seamless integration of science into a business environment. Today, the partnership counts over 40 public and private partners.

Helix Nebula @ Cloudscape V "Cloud for savings, Cloud for quality", 27th - 28th February 2013, Brussels, Belgium

CloudSigma, Open Nebula, ESA and  T-Systems representatives will be present at Cloudscape V "Cloud for savings, Cloud for quality" in Brussels, Belgium, 27 - 28 February 2013, on behalf of HelixNebula. ESA and Cloudsigma will make a joint presentation of HN.
Helix Nebula will actively contribute to the session entitled "Industry impacting on european Cloud R&D: Successful synergies for cloud computing development in Europe" scheduled for the 27th February 2012, 16.00 - 18.00. The aim of this session is to delve into industry leadership in driving European R&D efforts across different types of initiatives leveraging or providing cloud solutions.

Cloudscape V advocates awareness of cloud computing, its benefits for the public and private sectors and the barriers that need addressing to ensure mainstream adoption.
The Cloudscape agenda is inspired by the latest developments in European R&D, open data, open science, eGovernment, SME innovation.
Key issues explored include trust, security, certification, standards, interoperability and portability with strong commitment from standards groups and international partnerships.
