Europe’s Leading Public-Private Partnership for Cloud

The Helix Nebula Initiative is a partnership between industry, space and science to establish a dynamic ecosystem, benefiting from open cloud services for the seamless integration of science into a business environment. Today, the partnership counts over 40 public and private partners.

Helix Nebula is found in iMentors' mapping e-infrastructure initiatives list.

iMentors is a e-infrastructure monitoring evaluation and tracking support system that has mostly to do with all e-infrastructure development projects of Sub-Saharan Africa. It is a project co-funded by the European Commission's DG CONNECT under the 7th Framework Programme.

By mapping e-infrastructure initiatives, their aim is to help scientists, universities, research and education networks as well as policy-makers and international donors gain valuable insights on the gaps and progress made in the region and to enhance the coordination of international actors involved in ICT initiatives in this part of the world.

With there e-infrastructure initiatives they provide the most accurate and advanced data on Projects, Organizations and Reasearch Infrastructures.
