Helix Nebula @ Big Data Road Show, 8-10 October 2013, Amsterdam

Atos presented Helix Nebula at the Big Data Road Show event during 8-10th of October 2013 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

From the organizers of Disrupting Europe and the FinTech Road Show, the Big Data Road Show is a unique event for entrepreneurs, investors and companies that are eager to know how harnessing, managing, securing and analyzing the ever-increasing amounts of data can give them a competitive edge.

Mick Symonds of Atos presented on Helix Nebula at the Connected Enterprise congress at the Perfect Storm Big Data Roadshow on the Science Park in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on 8 October 2013 (see http://bigdataroadshow.com/). The congress was attended by over 100 people from large and small, mostly NL-based, enterprises and start-ups.

The congress ranged from the disruptive influence caused by the advent of mobile to methods by which all that data could be captured and harnessed, and its impact on particular market sectors. The presentation on Helix Nebula, based on our standard presentation material, addressed both the initiative as a whole and in particular the need for large-scale data management. The proposed business models, of both Infrastructure and Information as a Service, were positioned in the context of Big Data.

Following the presentation there was a lively Q&A session, covering aspects such as whether start-ups were included in our intended future provision for SME’s.
